Shattershield Lamps
Shatterproof lamps and shatterproof lighting are used in the food industry for fluorescent safety reasons
to prevent broken glass or foreign bodies getting into food which is especially dangerous to the public.
Protective coated lights and lamps are required by EU legislation which calls for individuals and companies
to take all reasonable precautions to avoid glass or any other foreign body getting into food.
Shrinkwrap Fluorescents
Fluorescent Lamps coated with a shatterproof shrinkwrap to conform with European standards.Available for
all types of fluorescent lighting.
Thermal Cold Climate Lamps
We offer a full range of “Shattershield Thermo Lamps”. They are used in cold environments
where the lamp replacement needs special measures and maintenance costs are high. The construction of the
lamp is designed to give thermal insulation.
Lampguard
Food Safety requires the "Lampguard" protected lamps, ranging from fluorescent lamps to class IK7 protection
in T2, T5, T8 & T12 sizes. Other lamps include high and low pressure sodium lamps (i.e. Sox-Son) mercury lamps
HQI, Halide lamps, Incandescent lamps, Spot lamps, Long life GLS lamps and flood light glass lenses.
